At Working Health, we provide consultancy
and advice to employers on a range of matters. Our specialist area is the relationship between health and work.
We provide consultancy on a variety of topics, such as:
- How Covid will
impact returning to ‘normal’ operations
- Advice on compliance to current Health and Safety as well guidelines
- Advice on compliance to Public Health advice with regard to COVID-19
- Advice on GDPR/ Medicolegal risk
reduction/ Health Risk Reduction
- Advice on specific medical issues as they
present to Employer
- Advice on personal health data disclosure
and processing
- Workplace Audit including report on potential improvements from the Audit Cycle after periodic health surveillance of the workforce
- Provide workplace health promotion: talks to employees and employers re: key health issues; this can be done virtually or onsite
- Mini Health Screens in conjunction with Health Promotion- e.g. blood glucose and cholesterol/ BP check/ BMI; with follow up OH advice as needed
GDPR statement
- We collect employee details and medical information for Occupational Health assessment purposes, with prior written consent of the employee or client.
- This information is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality, in compliance with GDPR guidance.
- Our data is stored on a secure database in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018
- Employee information is kept strictly confidential and is used for pre-employment medicals, occupational health assessments, health surveillance and insurance medicals.
- Reports are released to the requestor only, who is associated with the employer. Information is only released to the requestor or any third party with the written consent of the employee.
- Any employee or their treating doctor can have access to their records as held by Working Health, in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and our company policy.
