She completed Specialist Training and obtained Specialist Registration in Occupational Medicine in 2015. Dr. Hennessy became a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2020. She is an examiner and trainer for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. Dr. Hennessy has been working in Occupational Health in the Mid-West region since 2011. Whilst working for MedWise in 2018, Dr. Hennessy co-founded MedWise Limerick. In September 2021, MedWise Limerick has been restructured, with Dr Sasha Hennessy now as the Medical and Managing Director of Working Health, to provide quality specialist OH advice to employers.Dr. Hennessy has an interest in mental health and it’s relationship with work; sports injuries and workplace allergies.
